A Kenyan expert aware of the incident comes from an Indonesian hacker known as Direxer responsible for the hacking.

On Tuesday night, E-Government officials had shut down some websites when they are trying to investigate how hackers can access websites.

E-Government is also trying to keep the birthday attack. Hackers put "sign" their webistes, damaging the front page view websites.

But in fact the work done colonial state was not successful, they still can not log in to their sites hacked and re-read the error message.

On site hacker said, "and I will make an attack on another server if the government still ignores security Security Code I. On behalf of Indonesia, Security is a necessity."

A view which is surprising to me personally who has used e-mail / Internet forerunners since 1985-86. Internet seen by most people, users, social observers as a world without borders, a world without rules, the world of freedom. Even more extreme, some participants even seem to believe wholeheartedly that there is no God in the Maya world. Is it for granted?

Many real-world logic is inverted if we are on the Internet. Something that was not rude, rough, the pornographic, inappropriate - into something that seems to be normal & the meet with a vengeance on the Internet. A porn site can even blasphemous-out by users because of lack of porn. There is no legal claim for someone who did immoral acts in public space Internet. It was common knowledge that many people in Indonesia who stole a stolen credit card on the Internet. Gossip, memojokan others, anonymous letters, became a very common thing on the Internet. Apparatus look impotent against crime in cyberspace, there is no law, regulation, Penal Code, which can not memojokan either the perpetrator of this to the green table - is there a green table on the Internet? Is there cyberlaw? There does not seem to.

I happen to support myself in the virtual world, without having a job in the world at all ordinary. Home everyday writing. It is impossible for me to do things that are not polite, porn, etc.. At that made trust (trust) the public will disappear & people will automatically isolate, segregate people doing bad things were. Rizki be lost caused by mistakes made. Unfortunately, mistakes, actions are not the slightest good if done in the virtual world would be very easy to spread - the people's court will come naturally to making mistakes. Here is not to use the written law, but the unwritten law, customary law, which was built consensus among the people. Once the phony to the test, not trusted for life - very appropriate to describe the existing conditions.

The above are often not aware of colleagues who do credit card theft, breach of decency on the Internet. They often think that there is no written law & law enforcement officers can arrest them. In fact, there is no written law, customary law which would punish between the members of the public who are not doing well.

Instead what will happen if we do good, charitable pious to fellow human, such charitable process can be very efficiently by using Internet technology. With a very low cost so we can spread the existing knowledge on us to as many people as efficient a way to attach it & send it via e-mail. I myself took out the cost Rp. 40-60000 / month for internet with a load of 600 letters per day. Most of the discussion conducted via Internet mailing list. With such a low cost of all existing knowledge in the head in trying to spread, the interaksikan with co-existing. Not expensive to do well on the Internet.

Alhamdullillah, reward, reward gained from good deeds are not expensive cost is usually far greater than what we spend. As a retired civil servant, a former professor of ITB who do not work everywhere, do not provide consulting, except write tidakmengajar & give a lecture course. Still be alive is enough to eat three times a day. Here appears the Creator of human his guidance appeared in cyberspace. Allah maha fair & will never be a charity one count of worship we do.

The consequence of the above is actually a lot of influence on the social aspects of human culture. Examples of issues of copyright & patent, for arts workers, researchers, programmers - copyright is a protection mechanism based on a written law works. Economic rights guaranteed by law in writing, a person who copied, plowing will be subject to criminal sanctions. The problem for arts workers, researchers & young programmers, not yet famous - difficult & expensive for them to follow the vagaries of distribution channels cassettes, CDs, software. The least expensive way is to distribute their works directly on the Internet for free, copyleft used. Unwritten law, customary law, the Internet community consensus is used to protect the economic rights to the arts workers, researchers, programmers remain awake. We know Linux, Napster etc. copyleft which adopts them. This allows people to understand a little can live & exist in this world without too much capital, but getting decent rewards for permanent survival.

All this is possible because the platform where we are shifting from a platform that information was slow in the real world to the Internet platform that enables us to deliver the work, information & knowledge instantly. Various real-world paradigm into question, the platform will lead to form a society that is not class, an equal society, in parallel, each one no more & no less than the others returned to nature as a human being on earth for charitable horizontally between fellow human & worship vertically to the creator.

There is no god but God - that echoed in the real world, also applies very well in cyberspace. Even the various structures, bureaucracy, power becomes the average yield of this virtual infrastructure, human return to nature

Twitter users were hit with another attack over the weekend featuring tweets reading "Best Video" and a link to a Web site that downloads malware, a security firm said on Monday.

The Web site, with a .ru (Russia) domain, purports to show an embedded YouTube video. Instead, the page downloads a malicious PDF that contains a "flurry of exploits" and if successful downloads fraudware that displays a fake security warning to try to get people to pay money, according to Kaspersky's Viruslist.com blog.

Contrary to earlier reports that the attack was a worm, the Kaspersky blog post speculates that the attackers were using accounts stolen in a phishing attack about a week ago.

Thousands of Twitter users were affected by what looked like a worm-like phishing attack last week, but was instead a site designed to help Twitters increase their number of followers quickly. The TwitterCut site looked like a Twitter log-in page and prompted people to type in their user names and passwords. Site administrators denied the phishing allegations and said they were shutting it down, according to the TrendLabs Malware Blog.

"This attack is very significant," the Kaspersky post says of the latest attack. "It would seem that at least one criminal group is now exploring the distribution of for-profit on Twitter. If the trends we've seen on other social platforms are any indicator for Twitter, then we can only expect an increase in attacks."

Twitter said on Saturday that it was aware of the problem and working on it. Another message from Twitter on its status page said some legitimate accounts affected by the attack were suspended but would be restored and that no personal information had been compromised.

The 'Best Video' scam displays a fake security warning in order to get people to pay for antivirus software they don't need, Kaspersky says.

Crime virtual world

Crime virtual world (UK: cybercrime) is a term that refers to criminal activity with the computer or computer network into a tool, target or where the crime. Included in the virtual world of crime, among others, is an online auction fraud, check forgery, credit card fraud, confidence fraud, identity fraud, child pornography, etc..

While the virtual world of crime, or cybercrime generally refers to criminal activity with the computer or computer network as a main element, this term is also used for criminal activity where traditional computer or computer network used to enable or facilitate the crime occurred.

Example of the virtual world of crime where the computer is as a tool against spamming and criminal copyright and intellectual property. An example of crime in the virtual world where computer access is the target of illegal (sophisticated access control), malware and DoS attacks. An example of crime in the virtual world as a place where the computer is identity fraud. While examples of traditional crimes with a computer as appliance is child pornography and online gambling.

This article is not intended to teach you how to steal credit card data, but we want to tell you that in the future you can terhindari criminal theft of credit card data. Glossary of credit card crime in the usual term "carding" since the existence of hundreds of percent increase internet. Ironically entry in Indonesia in the top 10 (was ranked first) so that a credit card imprint Bank-Bank Indonesia declined when shopping online at sites abroad.
This is also the natural by the author who wish to subscribe to the magazine game overseas with online payment via credit card.

The hacker crime once like this one, why? Because if only nge-hack or deface the website (change display / website links) is something that is not there. And this can be to detection of crimes and can be easily seized if he enter the sites have a Tracker (ip tracking program / link) or LOG FILE (a file that records user activity / ip go to the website). Carding if they can be free without a trace, and sometimes also after the data, they are among the hackers, so it difficult to track the first person to steal credit card data. Genesis recently that terrorist website also register in the carding of the results.

There are several ways that are used by hackers in stealing credit cards, among others:
1. Packet sniffer, it is the fastest way to get any data. The concept works just the program they can see or create files from logging data sent by e-commerce website (online sales) that they drill. In general, they mengincar website that do not have encryption or security sites that do not have good security.

2. Make a spyware program, trojan, worms and the like that act like Keylogger (keyboard loggers, program record keyboard activity) and the program is assigned via E-mail Spamming (put it in a file attachment), Personalization (chat), messenger (yahoo, MSN ), or sites with a particular icon or iming-iming Netter interesting to download and open the file. This program will record all activity to your computer in a file, and will send email to hackers. Sometimes the program can be run directly when you go to a site in a hacker or porn site.

3. Create phishing sites, sites that look similar or the same as the original site. example in Indonesia, when the site click the BCA (www.klikbca.com), had experienced the same thing. the site looks the same as the address klikbca but contrived as some of the different www.clikbca.com, www.kikbca.com, etc., so if the wrong type Netter, akan stray to the site. Fortunately the person who created the site he said does not intend evil. So if a hacker carding a site tuh, siap-siap deh a credit card you designate perforated.

4. Through e-commerce site is directly and steal all of its customers. This is quite difficult and need expert hacker or hackers who have the experience to do so. In general, they use a method of injection (include the script can be run by the site / server) for a site that has a firewall. There are several ways that injection of commonly used HTML injection and SQL injection. For sites that have no security or firewall, ready-prepared dikerjain abis-abisan.

There are a few more ways that the hacker, but way above is the most common hacker is done for carding. Ways that are not public akan described later in the future. Crime does not only happen because there is intention of the perpetrator, but because of the opportunity

According to an article in UPI, the three principal executives of E-Gold Limited have pleaded guilty in a case brought against them by the Department of Justice.

The three executives in question, Dr. Douglas Jackson, principal director of E-Gold and CEO of Gold & Silver Reserve Incorporated, and two of his senior directors (Barry Downey and Reid Jackson) pleaded guilty to conspiring to engage in money laundering and operating an unlicensed money transmitting business.

The corporations involved (E-Gold and Silver Reserve) face a fine of $3.7 million and have already agreed to pay a judgment of $1.75 million. Jackson faces up to 20 years in prison and a fine of $500,000 and Downey and Reid face a maximum of 5 years in prison and a $25,000 fine.

Anonymous means of transmitting money are favorite ways for criminals to conduct illegal business and scam people. In the current case, the Department of Justice charged that the criminal activity included investment scams, credit card fraud, identity theft and even child exploitation.

They did mention that E-Gold assigned employees to monitor accounts for fraud, but the employees allegedly didn’t have any previous experience in dealing with illegal activity.

Another article in PC World about this story pointed to a blog post, where Douglas Jackson announced some new security procedures to verify their customers and prevent fraud. No new accounts are being opened until they can find out an “interim means” of verifying who their customers actually are. Also mentioned in the blog post was that a systems design flaw made it difficult for them to get rid of a user, effectively. The logic behind this seems to be that if one account was blocked another one would be opened. Please note that with all kinds of free e-mail accounts — which was the only requirement to open an E-Gold account — it wouldn’t be very hard for a criminal to simply move on to another e-mail address if they got caught committing fraud.

It will be interesting to see how they plan to verify customers over the Internet.

In 2006, BusinessWorld reported that the ShadowCrew — a 4,000 strong credit card fraud and identity theft ring operating in carder forums on the Internet — used E-Gold to launder some of their proceeds.

To anyone familiar with crime on the Internet, allegations of criminals using, or manipulating E-Gold (or other services like these) are nothing new. E-Gold gives their customers the ability to transfer the value of gold, electronically. To transfer E-Gold — which has a cash value — all anyone needs is an e-mail address, account number and password.

E-Gold type accounts are also prone to take-overs. This normally occurs when account numbers and passwords are stolen via what is known as phishing and the account is taken over by a fraudster. After a crook compromises the account in this manner, they simply transfer the gold, elsewhere. Phishing is accomplished using social engineering or sometimes with the help of malware (crimeware) that automatically steals all the information from a system using keylogging software.

Please note from what I’ve heard, people are never made whole (compensated) after this happens to them. Once the money is transferred, there is little or no recourse to be had by the account owner. Interestingly enough, E-Gold spins this as there are no chargebacks to worry about. Chargebacks occur when a financial institution discovers a financial instrument was used to commit fraud and the transaction is charged back to the merchant.

So far as the money laundering aspect, a anonymous service such as E-Gold can be used to move the proceeds of all sorts of crimes. People are known to be duped in job scams to launder money using a service like this. In cases like these, they are taking all the risks for a small portion of the rewards.

In most instances, anyone who gets involved in one of these scam activities is going to at the very least lose their shirt in the process. Of course, they can also get arrested.
