Crime virtual world (UK: cybercrime) is a term that refers to criminal activity with the computer or computer network into a tool, target or where the crime. Included in the virtual world of crime, among others, is an online auction fraud, check forgery, credit card fraud, confidence fraud, identity fraud, child pornography, etc..

While the virtual world of crime, or cybercrime generally refers to criminal activity with the computer or computer network as a main element, this term is also used for criminal activity where traditional computer or computer network used to enable or facilitate the crime occurred.

Example of the virtual world of crime where the computer is as a tool against spamming and criminal copyright and intellectual property. An example of crime in the virtual world where computer access is the target of illegal (sophisticated access control), malware and DoS attacks. An example of crime in the virtual world as a place where the computer is identity fraud. While examples of traditional crimes with a computer as appliance is child pornography and online gambling.
